Toshihisa Iida

Director, Corporate Vice President, Chairman & General Manager, FUJIFILM Corporation

Toshihisa “Toshi” Iida has been part of Fujifilm Corporation for over three decades. Throughout his remarkable journey since joining Fuji Photo Film in 1991, Toshi has successfully held key leadership roles in Japan, Europe, and the United States.  In June 2024, Toshi was appointed to the Board of Directors for FUJIFILM Corporation as Vice President, General Manager of the Life Science Strategy Headquarters and Bio CDMO Division, in addition to his role of Chairman for FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies.

Prior to his current roles, Toshi served as President and CEO of FUJIFILM Europe GmbH based in Dusseldorf, Germany, and FUJIFILM Europe B.V., with headquarters in Tilburg in the Netherlands.   

Toshi received his degree from Keio University in Tokyo, Japan in 1991.

Brandon Pence

Brandon Pence

President & Chief Operating Officer, FUJIFILM Biosciences

Brandon Pence joined Fujifilm Biosciences as President and Chief Operating Officer in 2024. In his current role, he has direct oversight of teams in global manufacturing and quality, finance, R&D, human resources, and all commercial operations for the business. Brandon has a proven track record of global business growth and strategy development in life science companies including Thermo Fisher Scientific and GE Healthcare.

Prior to joining FUJIFILM Biosciences, he was Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at Avantor Sciences and has held Vice President / General Manager positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific leading a variety of businesses including Cell Biology, Purification and Pharma Analytics. Prior to that, Brandon led market development and strategy for GE Healthcare’s bioprocessing division (now known as Cytiva).

Brandon Pence is a graduate of Utah State University and started his career as a scientist working in the development of cell culture processes for mammalian and insect cells prior to moving into business-focused roles. He and wife relocated to Southern California as a part of joining Fujifilm.
